Keepers of Home - Contenders of Faith Co-op

This ministry is for homeschool parents to get thier children into a classroom setting, to connect with other like minded homeschoolers, and help one another teach our children in the way they should go. We believe it is the parents responsibilty to train up thier children. Children are a reward that God has given to us and we need to instill in them the truths of Gods Word. The Bible was and should still be the primary textbook for learning. Our goal is to center our teachings around the His Word. Deuteronomy 11:19 says, “And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” Our co-op will last for 16 weeks and include several electives including…

Electives include…

  • Men and Women in the Bible

    Class will be broken down to boys and girls, We will learn about men and women in the Bible and how they help to teach us valuable insights from God’s word. It also reveals how both men and women are created in God's image and called to partner together in reflecting His glory. Furthermore, examining biblical narratives, both positive and challenging, can offer guidance on how to navigate life's complexities and build a strong foundation for faith and relationships. This class will also Include Bible Memorization.

  • Fishers of Men & PE

    This class will teach how to become a soul winner for Jesus Christ. If we are going to follow Jesus, then he will make us fishers of men. Will include how to approach someone, a plan to give the gospel, and reap the harvest. Also PE Physical Education

    This needs no explanation. We’ll stretch and exercise and play some games.

  • Spanish Class " Younger Kids " Ages 5-9

    Spanish class for kids aged 5-9

    Learning through play, songs & stories. Basic vocabulary related to greetings, numbers, colors, family, and daily life. This class includes more listening, speaking, singing, playing and makes less emphasis on formal grammar rules and vocabulary memorization.

  • Home Economics

    This class will be offered for all ages and just will be spilt up acourdingly. We will continue our learning of life skills. Meal prep, sewing, laundry, basic home repair, gardning , and financial management. These skills are essential for independent living and maintaining a household.

  • Animal Science & Labs "Older Kids"

    Animal science education through hands on labs offer a wealth of beneifts including strong foundation in animal biology, practical skills, and the understand of the animal science with broader fields like agriculture and human health . We will be using the Good and the Beautiful curriculum

  • Music

    This class will teach how to read music right out of the hymnal. We’ll learn counting and basic music theory. It will also include a end of the year Christmas Play.
